JORDY WAELAURUW

Starting from the age of 7 year old, Jordy began his musical career journey by studying at SMM Perguruan Cikini, Jakarta. This has introduced him to a jazz band called “Captive”, and became a part of it. Years later he got the opportunity to collaborate with some of the finest musicians in Indonesia, namely KLA Project, Trio Lestari, RAN, Barry Likumahuwa Project, Tompi, Benny Likumahuwa Jazz Connection, Gugun Blues Shelter, Raisa, Maliq & D’Essentials, The Groove, Albert Fakdawer.

In 2017, he launched his first single With You, featuring Kunto Aji, followed by his full album called Stand Still and finally got nominated at Anugerah Music Awards for Best New Comer Category.

Recently, he continues his journey by producing his own music and working side by side arranging horns with other fellow musicians such as Laleilmanino, Ruth Sahanaya, Diskoria Selekta, Kaleb J & PJ Morton.
