JUNIO FERNANDEZ
Starting his musical carrier as a tenor soloist with the Indonesian American Friendship Community and the Erasmus Chamber Orchestra of the Dutch Embassy for Indonesia, Junio Fernandez is extremely active in developing church music especially choral music. As in the commercial side, he’s also a voice and singing talent for several TV commercial in Indonesia.
He assisted Trie Utami in the production of Vocal Curriculum for Purwa Caraka Music Studio where he was also becomes the lead singer of Purwa Caraka band and Orchestra. Meanwhile, other great names in Indonesia music such as Dian HP, And Riyanto, Widya Kristianti, Vicky Sianipar, Onie Krisnerwinto, Addie MS, Erwin Getaway trusted him to work together even until now. He had the privileges of becoming the Choir Master and Arranger for Krisdayanti, Erwin Gutawa and Joy Subiakto "Tray" Concert. He was also responsible for the music illustration and as a music director for The Master, a contest involving best magicians, broadcasting live from RCTI TV station and personal music director for Mr. Deddy Corbuzier, a mentalist magician for live TV and off air performance.
Not to mention that he’s also arranging, producing, score writing for his own chamber orchestra and choir, Benevolintia. There plenty of Government Agencies and Company Anthems done by Junio from Kementrian Kelautan Dan Perikanan, Dhamayukti Karini Mahkamah Agung, Ehipassiko, and so on. Despite all these television/ commercial program activities he’s still actively performing as a singer and/musician in several live occasions such as parties, government institutions, weddings, and other events. From a singer to an arranger, he has a wide range of abilities an motivations to learn ne things, specially musical knowledge.
Recently, he’s producing numbers of music an arrangements for choirs, companies, church whether if its in vocals or audio production. And to add more skills to his abilities, he’s actively involved in a musical theater production such as Titiek Puspa Semut Merah Semut Hitam as backup vocals with DIAN HP Band, Gita Cinta 2013 as one of the main cast The Art Teacher, and Attilah K’s Ariah, a massive production held for the Anniversary of The City of Jakarta, where he mas assigned as vocal coach for the main casts under the supervision of Ubiet Raesuki, and at the same time as the Choir Master with Erwin Gitawa Orchestra along with Lucia Palupi. More recent works are Ivan Gunawan’s The Story Of My Life Musical Concert, Music and Choir Director of Unilever Indonesia, music and arrangement for Jane Callista’s debut album, and plenty more.
